Selena is a participant of Project Phoenix (number six) and I've known her for quite some time. It was only natural to interview her.

Selena: O.O

Shauna: did you think you'd escape ?

Selena: no I didn't

Shauna: lol

Shauna: I know that you're an artist but you're versatile, so just how many artistic streets have you been down?

Selena: what do you mean?

Shauna: the different art things you've done

Selena: umm...well I paint, sketch, sew, beading, and customizing/improvisation art.

Shauna: so how did you get into all those different activites ?

Selena: I've loved drawing for almost my entire life. With the other activities I tried out of curiosity, to learn something new, or just to make something ^^

Shauna: is there any in particular that you would pursue more so than the others ?

Selena: I intend to continue drawing. I want to improve and I never get tired of it ^___^

Shauna: what do you hope to do with it in the long run ?

Selena: illustrator, animation, fashion designing....theres just too many to name but they all involve drawing

Shauna: is there anything you're hoping to try next ?

Selena: right now I'm trying to learn how to play the guitar, how to use Photoshop and learn at least some Japanese.....im hoping my brain doesn't explode >.<

Shauna: lol

Shauna: what's been your prized accomplishment thus far ?

Selena: accomplishment? i guess it would simply be being me ^^

Shauna: have any role models or mentors ?

Selena: my mentors are anyone who can help me develop my skills in any legal way possible^^;; role models I'm not too sure of

Shauna: who are your influences ?

Selena: almost anyone who is skills are better then mine and people who have a great perspective...there might be more but i cant think ^^;;

Shauna: if you had to pick a character from anything even one you created, who would it be and why?

Selena: umm if i had to pick a character I would choose L aka Ryuzaki from Death Note. Hes adorable!! hes like a a child in a 20 yr olds body who is a genius

Shauna: where do you think you'll be in a couple of years ?

Selena: art class ^^

Shauna: lol, how do you think the world of art is doing ?

Selena: from what I've seen it looks like its doing well. more and more people are getting into the art world and from I've seen from my classes and others young artists the future of art seems bright ^^

Shauna: as per the world of art, if you could wish for one thing what would it be ?

Selena: I wish to do better ^^

Shauna: best song ever ?

Selena: theres so many but i would say Zakuro by Dir en Grey or Filth in the Beauty by the Gazette

Shauna: what is your favourite medium ? (type of art)

Selena: drawing ^^, but digital art more (must.....learn....photoshop O.O)

Shauna: lol

Shauna: is there anything else you'd like to get into aside from art ?

Selena: ummm....sewing....i think....wait thats art ^^;;. I'd get into psychology

Shauna: why is that ?

Selena: I think that the human mind is interesting I love knowing why behind actions no matter how bad the action may be

Selena: or the reason

Shauna: what's your favourite colour to work with ?

Selena: black...its bold and can work with any color or picture. its flexible ^^

Shauna: what or who is your favourite drawn character? meaning that the artwork was fantastic. that also means what anime, manga, or whatever else.

Selena: ummm.... i love the artwork for XXXHolic and Angel Sanctuary

Shauna: any particular favourites from either ?

Selena: angel sanctuary ^^

Shauna: (i meant character)

Selena: i cant really think of a specific charecter because i dont get to watch the anime or the manga much...but from XXX holics Yuko san is my favorite

Shauna: what type of books do you like ?

Selena: i like books that have abnormal events, horror, and fantasy. nice and overly happy and normal? YUCK!!

Shauna: lol, ever thought about trying out the writing realm ?

Selena: I've tried but I'm never successful unless I'm writing based on real events

Shauna: why is a raven like a writing desk ?

Selena: both can have the ability to travel. a raven can travel far and see many places. a writing desk allows your imagination to travel and be transfered....hoo-raa for improvisation.
